"Mr. Lin Qi, the people you were waiting for have arrived..."
The supervisor in charge of the institute's security knocked on the door, interrupting the conversation between Lin Qi and the Minister. After receiving permission, he poked his head inside and delivered the message.
"Let them in."
After Lin Qi finished speaking, the supervisor from the Security Department did not leave. Instead, he wore an expression as if he wanted to say something but could not bring himself to. Lin Qi immediately realized what had happened.
"They can't come?"
The supervisor shook his head. "It's not that they can't come. They brought a lot of things with them—some files and some boxes. Our people are helping them carry everything inside."
"They said all of these things might come in handy, so... we may have to wait a while."
The Chief Theologian had not known about this for long. After Lin Qi called him, he immediately began arranging for people to bring along some useful materials.
The discovery on the Moon's Backside of something that might be a pyramid had left him more excited than ever before. In order to let Lin Qi—and the world—know that his research had value, he had made ample preparations.
Lin Qi nodded. "Tell him not to rush. Also, clear out the conference room. We'll wait for him there. I hope he can give us a truly meaningful exchange."
A little over twenty minutes later, those people had carried everything into the research institute. Lin Qi had someone clear out a large area for them to use as a temporary research and discussion site.
