"What... is this place?"
A Demi-human Race man looked around at the familiar yet somewhat strange surroundings. He stared around in confusion. He remembered... at the final moment, he had already died! After killing a Trade Alliance soldier, he had been riddled with bullets.
He had been furious and hateful, but those intense emotions soon transformed into unwillingness to accept his fate!
He did not want to die. He had never been to the Upper Class cities and did not know who his parents were.
He desperately wanted to go up there and see the world, bask in the sunlight, and find the parents who had abandoned him to ask them: If they did not want him, why had they given birth to him? And if they had given birth to him, why had they abandoned him? He had too much anger and hatred toward this world and everything in it, yet he also had so many things he could not bear to leave behind. All of it had become unwillingness to accept his fate.
He did not want to die. He still wanted to live, but... where was this?
Suddenly, some pure-white feathers drifted down from the sky. He reached out to catch one, but the instant his hand touched it, the feathers scattered.
They were light!
Feathers made of light. He instinctively looked up and saw an angel with wings descending from the sky, flapping her wings.
"This is God's Country. I am the Archangel, Aurora."
"God's Country?"
Within a very short time, many more people appeared around him. Their faces all carried roughly the same intense emotions: fear, anger, unwillingness, regret...
Yet at this moment, all of those emotions transformed into confusion.
"You are already dead."
Countless images of their final moments flashed through the people's minds.
