Even though the Shield Generators on the two main ships had passive activation functions, they could hardly do much. After a brief struggle, they became the unchanging garbage of the universe.
They would submit to the cold universe for a very, very long time. If they were lucky, one of their chunks of flesh would preserve some intestinal bacteria because it had frozen quickly.
During a voyage through space, one such chunk might be captured by a planet protected by an atmosphere and possessing the basic conditions for life, eventually falling to the surface.
Those thawed bacteria would become the first organisms on that planet. They would gradually evolve, eventually developing organisms such as the E. coli People, and one day sending a satellite into space in their longing to explore the universe, only to be captured by some civilization...
That was a matter for the future. For now, they would merely become the unchanging garbage of the universe, drifting slowly through space.
Aurora's robot army quickly began modifying the hulls of the other fleets. Some used small projectors, while others directly had the robot army change its shape and color, helping the ships disguise themselves as the transport ships that had already been destroyed.
