That very day, the StarNet Television Station broadcast a program about it, giving a detailed introduction to the origins of the Octopus Clan and their past relationship with the Earth Star Civilization.
From being plundered and invaded to achieving tremendous civilizational development, none of it could have happened without Mr. Lin Qi, StarNet Company, and the efforts of all the citizens of the Earth Star Civilization.
Actually... everyone knew that the citizens hadn't really put in much effort. The main credit belonged to Lin Qi and Aurora. But they were happy to be represented and included in the description.
It gave them a special sense of honor, just as people often said: the prosperity of civilization had a share of your efforts too.
In reality, though, you hadn't done anything. All you did was complain about the government, complain about the capitalists, complain about your income, complain about the environment... anything but complain about your own incompetence.
So this statement, which clearly catered to ordinary people's emotions, received widespread support. After all, they had indeed made a contribution—by not causing trouble for the company! Someone suggested holding some sort of ceremony, perhaps having the Octopus Emperor come and bow before the Miracle Steps, then offer his loyalty.
Others felt that wasn't necessary. Compared with such things, they cared more about when they would be able to visit Octopus Star.
They were filled with a desire to explore alien planets and civilizations unlike the Earth Star Civilization.
Even Sera asked Lin Qi when they could go to Octopus Star for a visit.
