We hit ten million words. There's not much to say except thank you all for accompanying me for more than three years. You can check out the new book later.

I don't plan to make the new book so long this time. Actually, this book was supposed to end when it reached seven or eight million words, but as everyone knows, we were approaching 3,000 chapters.

When I started the book, the first chapter was numbered 0001. One reader asked me, "Can your damn book really reach 1,000 chapters? Aren't you being a little too ambitious?"

I was very surprised.

Wasn't reaching 1,000 chapters as easy as lifting a finger?

The truth was, it really wasn't that easy. Especially when I was aiming for 3,000 chapters, I couldn't resist the temptation and pushed a little harder.

And once I pushed, I reached more than nine million words.

With more than nine million words already in sight, this was my first time breaking ten million. If I didn't do it now, I might never get the chance again.

I thought, I'll just grit my teeth and do it!

After all, it only happens once in a lifetime. If I had to throw away my pride, so be it. In the end, I achieved something that perhaps ninety-nine percent of authors could never accomplish.

Ten million words and 3,000 chapters. This proved that sometimes, if you wanted to complete a task, you absolutely couldn't afford to care about your dignity.

Of course, I also thank everyone for being so understanding and for putting up with the delay for the sake of this small personal wish of mine.
