Volume: Why should I divide it?
At the time, the main goal of dividing the book into volumes was for author friends who were striving toward publication.
Two hundred thousand characters per volume was the most common rule. Otherwise, publishers would have trouble handling it. That was why, sometimes, you would find that many books with volume divisions had uneven pacing when the authors' skill wasn't quite there yet.
I don't plan to publish, so naturally I don't need to divide it into volumes.

Q: Is this book in its middle stage or late stage? A: It should be toward the latter part of the middle stage, I suppose. I'm not entirely sure either. I should still be able to write for quite some time.
Q: What do you think of brainless wish-fulfillment stories? If you could make money without using your brain, would you write one?
