After spending some time reading through the entire proposal, Lin Qi looked at Councilor Landon. "Do you think it has a chance of passing?"

Landon sat back casually. In truth, it was only after reaching this position that one could understand how enjoyable it was to be a councilor.

He did not need to take responsibility for any vote—hundreds of people voted, so why claim that his was the Key Vote?

If that could not be proven, then no matter how he chose or voted, he would not bear the slightest responsibility.

He would not earn a cent less than he should, nor bear a bit more responsibility than he should.

If he took the initiative to visit local areas or held the important position of serving on multiple committees, he could even be said to wield great power.
