Lin Qi tossed some photos and documents onto the desk, and the head of the Legal Department sat across from him.
"Take a look at these. What can we do with them?"
The head of the Legal Department took the booklet containing the photos and documents, opened it, and began to read.
The contents inside were basically all the same: a few photos and an explanatory document. He flipped through them quickly, his expression serious and earnest.
When he finished reading the final section, he placed the small booklet back onto the desk.
"I have several more booklets like this here, involving a total of over a thousand stores across the federation."
The head of the Legal Department pursed his lips, his expression remaining serious throughout.
This was an obvious outside maneuver, and he could even confirm that these outside maneuvers were illegal—suspected of fraud. Although it was not a massive crime, with such a large quantity, it would still become a headache.
Yet he drew the salary Lin Qi paid him, not one from the Department of Justice nor from Conscience, so he said very straightforwardly, "We at least won't lose. Next, I'll arrange for people to sue these stores one by one. They have clearly violated the counter contracts they signed with us."
"Before the legal validity of the contracts we signed loses effect, they took the lead in violating the responsibilities and obligations they should have fulfilled. We have the right to stop supplying them and demand liquidated damages."
After hearing this, Lin Qi nodded with satisfaction. "I hope that isn't too large a figure. You know, I'm soft-hearted at heart; I don't want too many families to go bankrupt because of their foolish actions."
"But the law is the law. Do you understand what I mean?"
