Four days passed in Erezege. Hundreds of players wandered around Bator City, taking on every kind of task in town and compiling all sorts of tips and precautions.
For example, how to do manual labor with the least effort, how to cut corners when building a house, how to climb a tree to find a Tiefling girl's cat, and even how to steal vegetables from the market without getting caught.
Erezege gave players one impression—extreme freedom and extreme realism.
You could get chased down and beaten by a shopkeeper for stealing, legally shot dead by a homeowner for barging into their house and rummaging through their belongings, or even arrested by the Tiefling Guards for drawing a mustache on the statue in the center of the square. What amazed the players even more was that all kinds of physical and chemical reactions from reality could manifest in this world through magic. One civil engineering guy with the ID Ti Tong Pao Lu had even become a supervisor for Bator City's walls with his superb concrete-mixing skills and his ancient cement-making method.
After four days, most players had reached Level 1. Mantou was no exception.
There were twelve basic classes available in Erezege: Fighter, Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, Warlock, and mage.
Each class had its own strengths and weaknesses, which only made many people struggle even more with their choices.
After much deliberation, Mantou chose Fighter. He preferred battles filled with flashing blades and clashing steel.
Most of them had been forcibly logged out due to the gaming pods' twenty-four-hour limit—except for a few hardcore grinders who had heavily modified their pods' systems just to stay far ahead of everyone else.
"Whew, time passed way too fast."
