When I outlined this part a year ago, I thought it would be really exciting. Reality proved that was just wishful thinking on my part.
I'm a complete newcomer, and I have many shortcomings when it comes to plot and pacing. Sometimes, as I write, I get lost in my own world and start entertaining myself. There were quite a few similar cringe-worthy moments in this volume too, so once again, I'm sorry.
Sometimes my ambitions were pretty lofty. I wanted to reflect the development of an era through the reactions of ordinary people, but looking back, it all felt rather forced. I just don't have the skill for it.
Looking back on this journey, even I find it a little unbelievable.
I actually wrote over a million words, and I even made it through several finals weeks.

Dragon fiction is actually a pretty niche genre. There haven't been many books in it with good results. I wanted to take a different path by combining dragon fiction with game fiction, fantasizing that I could become the Super God Mechanic of dragon fiction.
