Keosius reviewed the Empire’s war effort and the Dragon Scale Monk program as the Abyss Legion pushed against the Imperial Wall. At the Hall Mountains, Alger’s Wyvern Legion used Keosius’s overwhelming dragon might to break the Abyss Dragon Beast charge and kill Licht Morr.

  • Keosius learned that only twelve of the twenty-one Dragon Scale Monks could fight reliably and approved plans to expand the program while charging Starfallers for training.
  • Licht Morr led an Abyss Dragon Beast Legion across the Hall Mountains, hoping to invade Imperial territory and take revenge on the Red Scale Conquerors who had defeated his former guard.

Adelovel and the Mellward Silver Dragons helped the Imperial army repel Bazuite Devils, but they discovered the invasion was far larger than expected and suspected an Abyss Lord had entered the Material Plane in its true body. As Demon Hunter Spiders devastated the Imperial defenses, Marshal Dolo prepared a counterattack with the Empire’s Steam Tanks.

  • Adelovel and Jennycis led Silver Dragon reinforcements against the Bazuite Devils, turning the battle and helping the Imperial soldiers counterattack.
  • Adelovel and Jennycis spotted enormous demon forces approaching and concluded that an Abyss Lord had descended into the Material Plane in its true body.

At the front, Lonely as Snow’s group fought dangerous demons until Christina and the Blue Dragons of the Faria Family arrived as reinforcements.

  • Wyverns and Flame Wyverns attacked the Abyss Dragon Beasts while Demon Bees overwhelmed Steam Tanks, and one tank commander destroyed a swarm with an emergency self-destruct blast.

Keosius unleashed his mastery of flames against the invading demons and repeatedly killed the Balor, Leo Bosk, whose body kept reviving through the Abyss’s power. After Leo teleported to Tieri Peak in the Anstica Mountains, Keosius let him go and tore open a Spatial Rift to pursue him.

  • Keosius engulfed the battlefield in fire, burning the demons and helping the Empire’s soldiers counterattack.

  • Keosius arrived and killed Leo by crushing his heart, while Jierlazarax abandoned the Balor and gathered the released Abyss energy.

Ch. 537Kareks' Body (II)

Keosius unleashed his strongest magic and fought Jierlazarax as the Abyssal Dragon spread chaos across Anstika, but their breath attacks reached a dangerous stalemate. Pablicheko Mellward arrived at the battlefield and could only pray that Keosius would win.

  • Keosius unleashed a barrage of legendary spells against Jierlazarax, but the Abyssal Dragon dispersed them with chaotic power.

Jierlazarax awakened, wiped out most of the attacking players, and turned Singo and his bomb to ash without being harmed.

  • Metallic Dragons, Celestial Beings, and Embers of the Burned Empire players fought the demons as Keosius unleashed devastating attacks on them.
  • Singo, Steamed Bun, Born Battle Maniac, and Xia Ye Qiuyu sneaked toward Jierlazarax with a plan for Singo to strike its unscaled chest with a Magic Forbidden Bomb.
  • Jierlazarax rose, exposed the party, and summoned more Abyssal Devils, prompting over a hundred players to charge the dragon.

Jierlazarax annihilated the players and grew into a nearly three-hundred-meter Abyssal Dragon before confronting Keosius in the sky. Keosius wounded him with swift attacks, but Jierlazarax’s Blasphemous Verse disrupted the Red Dragon and sent him crashing into a mountainside.

  • Jierlazarax released a devastating roar that wiped out the players and rose into the sky as Abyssal power enlarged his body.
  • Keosius flew up to confront Jierlazarax, who mocked him and attacked with chaotic power and thousands of Spears of Revenge.

Ch. 541Cataclysm

Jierlazarax devastated the battlefield with a catastrophic dive, but Keosius survived by escaping into an alternate dimension and fought back against the Abyssal Dragon. As Keosius began to lose ground, Tyr, Ilmater, and Bahamut arrived, and Jierlazarax rose to face them.

  • Jierlazarax plunged into the mountain ruins, destroying much of Anzeta and killing the creatures who failed to escape as the dragons, Celestial Beings, Empire forces, and players fled.
  • Keosius emerged alive from the smoke after using Order Divine Power, Shelter Egg, and defensive spells to survive Jierlazarax's impact.
  • Keosius attacked Jierlazarax with fire and repeated charges, but the Abyssal Dragon's power suppressed him and left him badly wounded.
  • Tyr, Ilmater, and Bahamut appeared as divine incarnations, prompting cheers from the Metallic Dragons and Celestial Fighters.

Ch. 542Imperial Authority

Keosius lured Jierlazarax to Tieri Peak, where he unleashed the Empire Domain’s ultimate order and turned the tide of their confrontation. Jierlazarax recognized the power as something like a Divine Kingdom and reacted with fear.

  • Jierlazarax used most of his Abyssal power to block the Three Gods of Justice, then attacked Keosius, hoping to devour him and complete Kareks' Body.
  • Keosius fled toward Tieri Peak while Jierlazarax pursued him, closing in and nearly catching him several times.
