Ch. 763Silver Moon Light

Rhea, Titus, and the allied forces fought the Abyss monsters, closed several Abyss Gates, and advanced on the Sacred Tree under Queen Catherine’s command. As victory began to favor the allies, Seron watched from the Sacred Tree and refused to accept the end of the Elders’ rule.

  • Rhea and Titus killed the fleeing Deep Dragons, and Rhea used the Silver Moon Goddess’s power to close an Abyss Gate.
  • Rhea joined Titus against the evil dragons as Queen Catherine ordered the Silver Moon Elves to close the remaining Abyss Gates and attack the Sacred Tree.
  • Melisandre killed a Drider elder and several Demon Hunter Spiders, while a Harper ranger used a Silver Moon Disc to close another Abyss Gate.
  • Zane led dwarven cavalry against the monsters, and allied forces closed more Abyss Gates while fighting to reclaim the Sacred Tree.
  • Catherine and Titus rallied the allied army to charge, while Seron watched from the Sacred Tree and vowed not to let the Council of Elders’ rule end.

Ch. 764Unknown Existence

Catherine’s forces broke through the Drider army and reached the corrupted Sacred Tree, where they discovered the sleeping Drider Fariti Moonchaser and learned that Seron planned to make her the vessel of the Chaos Weaver. As the blood ritual began and its pressure incapacitated the defenders, Keosius watched from the sidelines, suspecting that the Silver Moon Goddess would intervene against Lolth.

  • Seron unleashed tens of thousands of Driders, but Titus, Melisandre, Rhea, and Catherine led the allied forces through the enemy ranks toward the Sacred Tree.
  • Catherine purified the corrupted Ancient Wood Gate with her royal blood, revealing the desecrated interior of the Sacred Tree and the mage’s suspected anchor point.
  • The allies found a sleeping Drider who resembled Catherine, and Seron identified her as Fariti Moonchaser, Catherine’s grandmother and the former tyrant of Serenia.
  • Seron announced that Fariti would become the Chaos Weaver’s vessel and began the ritual beneath the scarlet moon, sacrificing Silver Moon Elves and his own followers.
  • The ritual’s supernatural pressure left Catherine and the other defenders barely conscious, while Keosius feigned helplessness and considered whether the Silver Moon Goddess would confront Lolth.

Ch. 765Blood Moon and New Moon

Lolth descended into Fariti’s corpse and tried to subdue Catherine and the Silver Moon Elves, but Catherine reached Sehanine and received the Moon Bow. With the goddess’s power, Catherine fought back against Lolth’s forces and launched a divine arrow at her incarnation.

  • Lolth’s incarnation awakened in Fariti’s corpse, drove people toward violence, and tried to make the Silver Moon Elves worship her as their Mother Goddess.
  • Catherine identified Lolth and resisted her influence while Rhea stood between the queen and the bewitched elves.
  • Catherine reached Sehanine through a dream, and Sehanine told her to fulfill her mission as a New Moon appeared beside the blood-red full moon.
  • Catherine received the Moon Bow, regained the elves’ senses, and used moonlight to purify the Abyssal monsters attacking them.
  • Lolth raised the dead and altered the laws around the Sacred Tree, while Rhea, Titus, and Catherine fought back.
  • Catherine drew the Moon Bow and fired a powerful silver arrow toward Lolth’s incarnation.

Ch. 766The Power of Sehanine

Catherine wielded Sehanine’s divine power to protect the allied army and counter Rose’s Abyssal assault. As Catherine advanced on a Moon Bridge, she unleashed a colossal arrow of moonlight at Rose, leaving their confrontation unresolved.

  • Rose spread a blood-red web across the sky and sent Abyssal monsters and black mist against the allied army, while Catherine used the Moonlight Staff to shield the soldiers.
  • Rhea, Zane, the Ancient Gold Dragon, and the allied forces fought back as Catherine summoned the Silver Moon Legion, which weakened Rose’s enormous leg blade.
  • The Ancient Gold Dragon and Rhea struck the weakened limb, and Rhea’s moon-white blade severed it.
  • Rose attacked Rhea with a destructive beam, but Rhea split it with her silver sword before Catherine rose to challenge Rose directly.
  • Catherine walked along a Moon Bridge, purifying Rose’s black mist and the corrupted Sacred Tree as she approached the incarnation.
  • Rose fired the Abyss Demon Queen’s Gaze, and Catherine combined the Moonlight Staff and Moon Bow to launch a colossal arrow of silver light at her.

Ch. 767Kirathal Rose

Catherine battled Rose's avatar, but Rose wounded her with the Kirathal Rose and poisoned her with its corrupting power. Rose then used the artifact's threads to turn Catherine against Rhea, leaving Rhea facing the queen she could not bring herself to fight.

  • Catherine pierced Rose's avatar with a silver arrow, resisted Rose's curse, and summoned moonlight to bombard her opponent.
  • Rose revealed the Kirathal Rose, broke through Catherine's defenses, and poisoned her with its thorn.
  • Titus and Rhea tried to heal Catherine, but the poison resisted their magic and Rose connected Catherine to her with intangible poison silk.
  • Rose taunted Rhea and used the Kirathal Rose to corrupt Catherine, whose eyes turned black and scarlet.
  • Catherine attacked Rhea with a poisoned dagger while Rhea pleaded for her to wake up.

Ch. 768Mutual Slaughter

Rhea and Serenia’s legendary champions fought the maddened Catherine while Rose’s Spider Demon Domain swallowed the Elven Forest. Rhea briefly purified Catherine with the Silver Sword, but Rose revealed that only killing Catherine could remove the Kirathal Rose’s poison.

  • Catherine attacked Rhea with chaotic divine power, destroying her left arm and wing before Titus caught her and healed her wounds.
  • Rose spread a scarlet web across the Elven Forest, sealed the Weave, and sent spider monsters to devour its inhabitants.
  • Rhea, Titus, Zane, Melisandre, and Emerson resolved to restrain Catherine so Rhea could awaken her, and the champions combined their powers to bind the queen.
  • Rhea used the Holy Evil-Breaking Slash to suppress Catherine’s black light, but she discovered Rose’s mark still remained on Catherine’s neck.
  • Rose declared that the Kirathal Rose’s poison could only be removed by piercing Catherine’s heart, cutting off her head, and killing her.

Ch. 769Sword and Endgame

Rhea chose to kill Catherine rather than let the Spider Demon Queen turn her into a Godspawn, but Catherine awakened and drove the sword into her own heart. Catherine’s death triggered Sehanine’s miracle, reviving the queen and restoring Rhea’s arm as Rose’s plan to descend into the world was thwarted.

  • Rhea accepted Rose’s claim that Catherine had to die and thrust her moonlight-infused silver sword toward the queen’s heart.
  • Catherine awakened, realized Rose had controlled her, and chose to drive the sword into her own heart rather than serve the Spider Demon Queen.
  • As the allies mourned Catherine, Titus rallied them to fight Rose’s monsters, and the soldiers charged into battle.
  • Rose approached Catherine’s body, intending to use the queen as the catalyst for her return to the world.
  • Catherine’s Moon Heart awakened and Sehanine’s power restored her, while the same miracle regrew Rhea’s missing arm.
  • Rose recognized Sehanine’s intervention and threatened vengeance as Keosius realized the events had followed the goddess’s plan.

Ch. 770Moon God's Advent

Catherine became the vessel for Sehanine’s descent as Rose attacked her and the assembled defenders. Sehanine revealed herself and began driving Rose back toward the Abyss, leaving their battle underway.

  • Rhea used Sehanine’s power to sever one of Rose’s spider legs and block her attacks, but Rose overwhelmed her and blasted her away.
  • Zane, Melisandre, Emerson, Titus, and the others tried to defend Catherine, but Rose’s divine power tore through their protections.
  • A Moon Bridge appeared above Catherine, and Sehanine descended as the elves recognized and praised their Mother Goddess.
  • Rose’s attacks failed to harm Catherine, and Sehanine’s figure merged with her as Catherine opened her eyes with a divine aura.
  • Sehanine confronted Rose over her rebellion and the suffering she had caused, then attacked with silver arrows and waves of moonlight divine power.

Ch. 771Rose's Exile

Sehanine defeated Rose and purified the Driders, freeing Serenia from the spider goddess’s assault. Catherine awoke to victory, while Titus saw an opportunity to gain influence in the good-aligned faction.

  • Sehanine fought Rose as their armies clashed, and her moonlight restored the sanity of the corrupted Driders.
  • Seron regained his sanity, confessed his guilt, and dissolved into dust beneath the moonlight, leaving behind a black rose.
  • Rose unleashed her final attack, but Sehanine’s silver moonlight overwhelmed her and destroyed her avatar after she cursed Sehanine and the gods.
  • Sehanine sent the freed elven souls across the Moon Bridge, and Catherine awoke to learn that Serenia and the Silver Moon Elves had survived.
  • Titus watched Catherine’s victory and decided the end of the war offered his Golden Dragon persona a chance to gain authority among the good-aligned faction.

Ch. 772Alliance of Justice

After Serenia’s costly victory over the Spider Demon Queen, Catherine and the allied leaders formed the Dawn Alliance to resist evil forces, with Titus chosen to lead it. Unbeknownst to the alliance, Titus was actually Keosius, who planned to use the group to gather and monitor the Empire’s enemies.

  • Catherine addressed the survivors, honored the fallen, and declared that Serenia had won its freedom.
  • Titus, Melisandre, and Zane warned that Fei An Suo faced growing threats after the Fadlan Empire fractured.
  • The leaders proposed the Dawn Alliance, and Catherine, Rhea, Zane, Emerson, and Melisandre supported Titus as its leader.
  • Titus accepted leadership and vowed to fight for justice as the allied soldiers celebrated the alliance’s founding.
  • Titus privately revealed that his identity as the Dawn Wing had earned him faith and a place among the good-aligned forces, while he intended to use the alliance to gather the Empire’s opponents.

Ch. 773Awakened Emperor

Keosius awakened from his slumber on Dragon Blood Mountain, stronger and more deeply infused with the Progenitor Dragon Bloodline. After learning that the gods might return within fifteen years and that Tiamat’s cult had seized much of Seleucia, he declared that the Empire would resist her rather than submit.

  • Keosius rose from his sleep amid the elemental storms and discovered that his body had grown to nearly eighty meters long.
  • He found Dragon Crystals growing across his body and decided to sell them to players through the faction shop.
  • Keosius examined the adventurers who had died trying to reach Dragon Blood Mountain, burned their corpses, and collected their equipment and valuables.
  • Lang Pu reported that divine power was weakening the barrier between the Material Plane and the Outer Planes, potentially allowing gods to return within fifteen years.
  • Lang Pu told Keosius that the Dragon Worship Cult had nearly taken control of Seleucia and that only the River Valley Rebel Army still resisted.
  • Keosius rejected the idea of submitting to Tiamat and vowed to fight her, while Lang Pu pledged the Empire’s support.

Ch. 774The Old Powers' Last Stand

Adrian and his companions fled the Dragon Worship Cult through Ashen Swamp, only to be caught in a clash between a Red Dragon Dragonborn and Grutall, an Adult Green Dragon. After Grutall escaped, the group reached Talos Cairn and found the Dragonborn waiting above them.

  • Adrian led the surviving rebels toward Talilo Desert after learning their stronghold had fallen, but three Dragon Worship Cult acolytes tracked them down in the swamp.
  • A female dwarf and four other dwarves intervened, helping Adrian's group fight off the cultists and flee toward the leyline tunnels beneath Talos Cairn.
  • Grutall emerged and attacked the fugitives, but a red-haired Dragonborn woman descended in a pillar of fire and turned her power against him and the cultists.
  • The acolytes pleaded for their lives, but Grutall killed them with Acid Breath; the Dragonborn then nearly burned Grutall before he escaped through a rift using a rune-carved scale.
  • Adrian and the others hurried toward Talos Cairn, but they found the Dragonborn woman hovering above it and smiling down at them.

Ch. 775An Unexpected Ally

Misha, a Red Dragon Descendant from the Embers of the Burned Empire, offered Adrian help against the Dragon Worship Cult and gave him a token to reach Istaria. Adrian accepted the dangerous invitation with Rolf, and their first glimpse of the Empire’s orderly, prosperous capital convinced them they had made the right choice.

  • Misha restrained the dwarves, revealed that she opposed the Dragon Worship Cult, and offered Adrian’s group imperial aid against it.
  • Misha gave Adrian a token and told him to activate it if he decided to seek an audience with her master in Istaria.
  • Despite warnings from Rolf and the dwarves, Adrian chose to seek the Empire’s help and entered the portal with Rolf.
  • Adrian and Rolf arrived at the capital and saw its immense walls, diverse crowds, and orderly streets.
  • Si Wen explained that the roaring steel beast was a Steam Engine Car, and Adrian concluded the Empire was unlike the rumored den of demons.

Ch. 776The Dragon Above the Altar

Adrian and Rolf entered the Embers of the Burned Empire and were escorted to the Istaria Great Altar after their Audience Token revealed that they could meet Emperor Keosius. At the altar’s summit, Adrian saw the enormous Red Dragon Emperor surrounded by a sun radiating the power of Amanata, and wondered whether Keosius also worshipped the Sun God.

  • Si Wen showed Adrian and Rolf the Klaubo Wu Military Industry Group’s weapons and tried to sell Adrian a rifle, then offered him an arms loan.
  • Si Wen spotted Adrian’s Audience Token and explained that it granted an audience with Emperor Keosius, whom the people revered as a divine ruler.
  • Adrian and Rolf saw an Ember Church procession and orderly Wyvern patrols before Si Wen brought them to the Istaria Great Altar.
  • The Tiefling Guards checked Adrian’s Audience Token and let him and Rolf ascend, while they turned Si Wen away.
  • Adrian and Rolf climbed the altar and saw the immense Red Dragon Emperor with a radiant sun behind him.
  • Adrian sensed familiar Sun God Power from the sun and wondered whether Keosius was a believer in Amanata.

Ch. 777Audience and Conversation

Adrian met Keosius, who explained why the empire opposed the Dragon Worship Cult and awakened divine power within him as a future saint of the Amanata Church. Keosius then showed Adrian an image portraying Wilhelm as corrupted by Hell, leaving Adrian stunned by the claim that Wilhelm had traded millions of lives for power.

  • Adrian and Rolf knelt before Keosius, who reassured Adrian and asked him about life in the empire and under the Dragon Worship Cult.
  • Adrian described the cult's brutal rule, and Keosius declared that he opposed Tiamat and would never let the empire become a hunting ground for Five-Colored Dragons.
  • Adrian asked why Keosius had summoned him, and Keosius awakened the divine power of Amanata within him, identifying him as a future savior or saint of the church.
  • Adrian questioned Keosius about destroying the Thrace Kingdom, and Keosius showed him a Magic Image of Wilhelm appearing corrupted beneath a Black Sun.
  • Keosius claimed Wilhelm had made a deal with Zariel to sacrifice tens of millions of citizens and turn Auguste into Hell's Soul Pasture, leaving Adrian dumbfounded.

Ch. 778Reinforcements

Keosius won Adrian and Rolf’s trust, supplied them with weapons and a teleportation array, and sent them to aid the resistance against Tiamat’s followers. Adrian rallied the survivors to march on Green Valley Town, while Mantou won the Nova Cup and received a new main quest against the Dragon Worship Cult.

  • Keosius persuaded Adrian that the Embers of the Burned Empire could help stop Tiamat, then gave him Thunderfury anti-air cannons, an immortal-warrior promise, and a teleportation token.
  • Adrian and Rolf returned to the Seleucia Kingdom with military equipment and reunited with the survivors hiding in an underground mine.
  • The survivors learned that Duke Franz was at Green Valley Town and that Tiamat’s Claw Legion was gathering to destroy him.
  • Adrian rallied the displaced humans and Dragon Tooth Dwarves to join Duke Franz and fight the dragons and cultists at Green Valley Town.
  • Mantou won the Nova Cup in the Thrace Arena, then discovered the Dragon Usurpation main quest calling on warriors to thwart the Dragon Worship Cult.

Ch. 779Rainy Night in Green Valley Town

Duke Franz and his exhausted soldiers fought Logan Benitez and the Dragon Worship Cult at Green Valley Town, but the arrival of twelve Green Dragons overwhelmed their defenses. As Franz faced defeat after the Bishop’s death, reinforcements arrived with a promise to fight beside him.

  • Duke Franz rang the town bell and rallied his soldiers as the Dragon Worship Cult approached through the storm.
  • Logan Benitez led dragon-blooded monsters and cultists against the defenders, and Franz wounded him before Logan escaped in black mist.
  • Twelve Green Dragons arrived and tore through both the soldiers and the cultists, while Logan and four dragons surrounded Franz.
  • The Ancient Green Dragon killed the Bishop, and Franz struggled to hold off the dragons as his forces fell into chaos.
  • A familiar voice called out that reinforcements had arrived to fight at Duke Franz’s side.

Ch. 780Players Descend

Adrian’s reinforcements arrived at Green Valley Town, but Duke Franz feared they could not withstand the Green Dragons until a spatial portal opened and unleashed a vast army of players. The newcomers attacked the Dragon Worship Cult, rapidly turning the battle in Green Valley Town’s favor.

  • Adrian led human knights and Dragon Tooth Dwarves into the battle, helping Duke Franz’s guards resist the Dragon Worship Cult’s assault.
  • Duke Franz wounded an Ancient Green Dragon, and Adrian severed an Adult Green Dragon’s claw before the two faced the dragons together.
  • Adrian refused Franz’s offer to help him escape and pointed to a rising stone monument that opened a huge spatial portal.
  • Players, Wyvern Knights, Dragon Scale Monks, a Sky Dreadnought, and other forces poured through the portal, shocking both armies.
  • The players attacked the Dragon Worship Cult rather than Green Valley Town’s defenders, and their Wyvern Knights, Dragon Scale Monks, and artillery devastated the cultists.

Ch. 781The Tide of War

Logan used Tiamat’s power to control the battlefield until the Dragon Prince’s appearance broke his hold, and Steamed Bun, Dawei Tianlong, and Singo killed him. The cultists then fell into retreat while the Ancient Green Dragon attacked indiscriminately, and Charlotte prepared the magic ship’s cannon to bring it down.

  • Logan used the Dragon Head Scepter to spread Tiamat’s influence, enthralling cultists and disrupting Green Valley Town’s forces and the players.
  • The scarlet Dragon Prince appeared above Green Valley Town, dispelling the influence and restoring the humans and players.
  • Steamed Bun, Dawei Tianlong, and Singo attacked Logan; Singo’s lightning arrow and a thunderbolt destroyed Logan’s body and soul.
  • With Logan dead, the Dragon Worship Cult’s ranks collapsed, while the Ancient Green Dragon ordered an indiscriminate assault and the players shot down and harvested several Green Dragons.
  • The Ancient Green Dragon’s acid storm killed over a hundred players, and Adrian and Franz charged toward it as Charlotte aimed the magic ship’s cannon and ordered it to fire.

Ch. 782The Fallen Ancient Dragon

The Magic Coin Guild’s Super Heavy Elemental Ship Cannon killed Anselm, an Ancient Green Dragon, and Charlotte’s divination and teleportation plan secured his corpse for the guild. The surviving Green Dragons fled south, but the players and the Church of the Machine God pursued them and brought several down with electrified nets.

  • The Magic Coin Guild fired its Super Heavy Elemental Ship Cannon, pierced Anselm’s wind wall, and struck him through the chest, killing him.
  • Mandrian and Duke Franz watched Anselm fall, and Duke Franz warned that the northern newcomers were too powerful to trust completely.
  • Charlotte revealed that she had predicted where Anselm would fall, and Ming Yue teleported his corpse onto the magic ship for the guild to harvest.
  • Charlotte gave the guild members three minutes to collect materials from Anselm’s corpse, while other players gathered the dragon blood left at the impact site.
  • The surviving Green Dragons fled south as the players pursued them aboard airships and armored Wyverns.
  • The airships fired Net Cannons that trapped several Green Dragons in electrified nets and sent them crashing toward the players waiting below.
