Ch. 783The Arrival of Dawn

Players and Seleucian forces devastated the Green Dragon Legion at Green Valley Town, but Erebus’s powerful projection destroyed the Church of the Machine God airships before the surviving dragons escaped. Dawn broke over the ruined town, where the survivors realized they had endured and still had hope.

  • Born Battle Maniac transformed into a Pit Fiend and killed an Adult Green Dragon with one axe blow as players swarmed the battlefield and hunted the dragons.
  • Duke Franz and Adrian fought the Green Dragons alongside the players, while Franz warned that the Starfallers might eventually treat their allies as prey.
  • Nearly thirty thousand players turned the battle against the Green Dragon Legion, reducing its twelve dragons to five and forcing Erebus to intervene.
  • Erebus’s projection destroyed several Small Airships with a Ninth Circle spell, then opened a portal for Theodore and the other surviving Green Dragons to escape.
  • Erebus threatened the humans before his projection vanished, and dawn revealed Green Valley Town’s devastation as Franz, Adrian, soldiers, and townsfolk took heart from their survival.

Ch. 784Dangerous Allies

After Misha stopped the players from fighting over battlefield loot, she clashed with Duke Franz over the Empire’s role in Seleucia. Adrian, Franz, and Misha agreed to target Lynnhawk City, though the prospect of Keosius intervening alarmed the two human leaders.

  • Adrian rallied the defenders after the battle, but players soon began fighting over loot and endangering Green Valley Town’s residents.
  • Misha arrived and invoked the Embers Edict, imposing severe penalties that immediately ended the players’ fighting.
  • Misha and Duke Franz argued over whether Seleucia needed the Empire’s help, until Adrian persuaded Franz to accept a temporary alliance.
  • Adrian, Franz, and Misha discussed their next move, and Franz proposed concentrating their forces on Lynnhawk City to disrupt the Dragon Worship Cult’s dragon breeding and ritual.
  • Misha agreed to attack Lynnhawk City and revealed that Keosius might personally intervene against an enemy they could not defeat, leaving Adrian and Franz alarmed.

Ch. 785The Dragon Among Them

Steamed Bun and his companions infiltrated a Dragon Worship Cult transport team by posing as a Young Red Dragon and his servants. After the cultists submitted to him, Steamed Bun killed their leader, Duka, when Duka tried to offer him a captive woman.

  • Singo explained the cult's bloodline-based hierarchy and planned for Steamed Bun to pose as a Red Dragon while the others acted as his servants.
  • Duka led a transport team carrying kidnapped civilians through the Ashen Swamp and complained to Ryder about the cult's rising demands for sacrifices and treasure.
  • Steamed Bun and his companions appeared before the transport team, and Duka and the others knelt when they recognized him as a Red Dragon.
  • Steamed Bun ordered Singo to beat Duka and Xia Ye Qiuyu announced that the group would obey Steamed Bun's commands.
  • Duka tried to appease Steamed Bun by blaming a captive woman and offering her as food, but Xia Ye Qiuyu killed Duka with a fireball.
  • Steamed Bun warned the remaining cultists not to make decisions for him, and they nodded in fear.

Ch. 786Lynnhawk City

Mantou’s group reached Lynnhawk City after extracting information from Ryder and learning about the Dragon Worship Cult’s sacrifices and the city’s Dragon Hatchery. At the city gate, two Vampire players were exposed while trying to sneak inside, and Lang Li Bai Tiao escaped the dragon beasts pursuing him.

  • Ryder disposed of Duka’s corpse, and Mantou made him the Transport Team’s new leader.

  • Ryder described the city’s ruler, Gottfried, and the cult’s plan to gather sacrifices for an army of dragon beasts.
  • Mantou’s group reached Lynnhawk City and prepared to infiltrate its Dragon Hatchery as they approached the guarded gate.
  • The gate priest exposed Lang Li Bai Tiao and Dark Night Wolf, who had disguised themselves as gold bars; Dark Night Wolf was captured, while Lang Li Bai Tiao evaded the dragon beasts and escaped.

Ch. 787Grutall

Steamed Bun and his companions entered Lynnhawk City by posing as a Red Dragon, while Grutall recognized Xia Ye Qiuyu’s aura and ordered them taken to the Inner City. After Ryder used a scroll to seek a Red Dragon Bloodline, he instead appeared in a laboratory and was prepared for an experiment.

  • A cult priest arrested Dark Night Wolf and the cultists who had brought disguised enemies to Lynnhawk City, while the remaining civilians were condemned as sacrifices.
  • Steamed Bun’s group staged a confrontation at the gate, and Xia Ye Qiuyu killed a cultist before Steamed Bun claimed authority as a Red Dragon carrying the Dragon Queen’s order.
  • Grutall arrived and sensed Xia Ye Qiuyu’s familiar aura, then ordered Steamed Bun and his followers escorted to the Inner City as hostages.
  • Singo told the group to cooperate so they could reach the Dragon Hatchery, while Xia Ye Qiuyu planned to track a woman there with her tracking device.
  • Ryder sent the other cultists away and activated a scroll, but it transported him to a laboratory where masked researchers restrained him for a dragon-organ replacement experiment.

Ch. 788Dragon Hatchery Riot

Mantou, Singo, Born Battle Maniac, and Xia Ye Qiuyu escaped Grutall’s guarded tower and fought their way into the Dragon Hatchery beneath Lynnhawk City. They found thousands of imprisoned humans and reached the Tiamat’s Altar at the hatchery’s core.

  • Mantou and his companions entered Lynnhawk City’s Inner City and were confined in a guarded room by Grutall’s cultists.

  • Mantou and his companions saw the massive altar of Tiamat at the end of the passage.

Ch. 789The Beginning of War

Singo, Xia Ye Qiuyu, Born Battle Maniac, and Steamed Bun defeated the Dragon Worship Cult at a Dragon Hatchery and armed the people held there. In Green Valley Town, Duke Franz and Count Adrian rallied resistance fighters and marched toward Lynnhawk City as players received a quest to capture it.

  • Singo and his companions fought the cultists and dragon beasts at the altar, with Xia Ye Qiuyu killing the cult priest using Breath of Keosius.

Ch. 790Dragon Shadow Over the City

Ulrichia prepared Lynnhawk City’s dragon-worshipping forces to face Duke Franz’s army, while learning that Keosius’s followers had infiltrated the Dragon Hatchery and destroyed several Dragonblood Altars. As the two armies approached, Adrian reminded the frightened soldiers that they were not the only ones fighting the Dragon Worship Cult.

  • Ulrichia invoked Tiamat’s phantom, empowering the cultists and dragon beasts gathered outside Lynnhawk City.
  • Ulrichia learned that Grutall had mistaken Keosius’s disguised follower for a Red Dragon Sect envoy and that the Hatchery’s human sacrifices had rebelled and destroyed four altars.
  • Ulrichia identified the intruders as followers of Keosius and ordered Grutall to defend the Dragon Hatchery and kill them.
  • Duke Franz’s army of more than eighty thousand soldiers arrived before Lynnhawk City, where the Dragon Queen’s phantom and the cult’s forces frightened the troops.
  • Adrian told the shaken soldiers that other forces beyond their army were also standing against the Dragon Worship Cult.

Ch. 791Slaughter Before the City Walls

Ulrichia sent the Dragon Worship Cult’s dragon beasts against the human legion, whose soldiers fought desperately under Jevin Ford and Adrian. Just as a vast second swarm threatened to overwhelm them, the Church of the Machine God’s Sky Dreadnoughts opened fire and devastated the beasts.

  • Ulrichia ordered the dragon beasts and Evil Dragon Priests to attack the human legion, and the soldiers met the first aerial assault with arrows, ballistas, shields, and spears.
  • Jevin Ford fought to avenge his murdered family, but a Wyvern fatally impaled him; he killed it with his sword as they fell together.
  • Acid, venom, and mounting casualties broke the human formation until Adrian led his guards into battle and rallied the soldiers with his radiant sword.
  • A seemingly endless horde of giant dragon beasts, Dragon Blood Colossi, Green Dragons, and Wyverns emerged from the mist, frightening Adrian and the soldiers.
  • The Church of the Machine God’s Sky Dreadnoughts appeared and bombarded the horde with shells and energy Beams, killing vast numbers of dragon beasts.

Ch. 792Players and Cultists

Ulrichia unleashed the Five-Headed Great Dragon’s divine attack, destroying a Sky Dreadnought and devastating the Empire’s players before the dragon beasts overwhelmed the human legion. Adrian fought to defend the line until a towering armored warrior appeared to hold back a charging beast.

  • Ulrichia and the Evil Dragon Priests summoned the Five-Headed Great Dragon’s power and fired a five-colored Beam at a Sky Dreadnought.
  • The Beam shattered the dreadnought’s defenses and destroyed the ship, then scattered elemental attacks across the player army, killing more than a thousand players and heavily wounding tens of thousands.

Ch. 793The War Reaches a Fever Pitch

Adrian, Steel Frenzy, and the human and player forces drove back the Dragon Worship Cult’s army and advanced toward Lynnhawk City. Inside the city, Singo led rescued civilians and infiltrated players in a revolt against the cult’s dragon hatchery, where they confronted Grutall.

  • Steel Frenzy killed a dragon beast, while Adrian blinded the Adult Green Dragon, severed its claw, and ran it through with a blazing sword before Steel Frenzy struck the killing blow.
  • More than a hundred Steam Tanks and a dozen Arcane Armors joined the battle, blasting and crushing dragon beasts as players and the human legion pushed toward Lynnhawk City.
  • Ulrichia grew furious as the city’s altars kept disappearing, while Singo rallied armed civilians in the Dragon Hatchery to fight for their lives.
  • The civilians and infiltrated players—including the Eighteen Arhats—fought off Pseudodragons and Dragonkin, then faced the Adult Green Dragon Grutall.
  • Singo wounded Grutall with an explosive arrow and challenged him alongside dozens of elite players.

Ch. 794Green Dragon and the Altar

Singo and the players fought Grutall after the Green Dragon slaughtered civilians offered as sacrifices. Qiu Yu finished Grutall with a pillar of dragon fire, and the players rushed to loot his corpse as the surviving civilians watched their belief in dragons' invincibility collapse.

  • Grutall massacred civilians until the gold-covered Eighteen Arhats blocked him, giving the mages time to bind him with spells.
  • Mechanical players blasted Grutall with rockets, and Singo wounded his chest with a Dragon Slayer Arrow, but Grutall broke free and unleashed an Acid Storm that killed nearby players.
  • Grutall resumed slaughtering the crowd, killed Dawei Tianlong, and fought Born Battle Maniac, who cracked his protective shield before being thrown aside.
  • Singo shot another Dragon Slayer Arrow into Grutall's wound and detonated it, exposing and injuring the Green Dragon's heart.
  • Singo evaded Grutall's poisonous gas, and Qiu Yu burned Grutall's heart to ashes with dragon fire, killing him.

Ch. 795Ulrichia's Fury

Singo rallied the human sacrifices to destroy Lynnhawk City's Dragon Worship Cult altars while the Imperial forces battered the city, prompting Ulrichia to intervene. The Ancient Green Dragon confronted the players in the Dragon Hatchery, killed many of them, and left Singo gravely injured as Steamed Bun narrowly escaped her attack.

  • Singo urged the civilians to destroy the Dragon Worship Cult's altars, and thousands joined the players in smashing them and freeing sacrifices.
  • Ulrichia learned that Grutall had been killed and the altars were falling, then flew toward Lynnhawk City as the Imperial forces advanced.
  • Imperial artillery, Steam Tanks, and anti-aircraft guns routed the Dragon Beast Cavalry, shot down Green Dragons, and blasted a breach in the city's wall.
  • In the Dragon Hatchery, Xia Ye Qiuyu sensed a powerful presence, and Ulrichia emerged and demanded to know who had killed her son and destroyed the altars.
  • Ulrichia's spells and attacks killed many players, destroyed Singo's arrow, and badly wounded him despite his Death Ward amulet.
  • Steamed Bun rushed to help Singo, but Ulrichia's Sword of Darkness cut Singo in two while Steamed Bun ducked out of its path.

Ch. 796Convergence of Fate

Ulrichia pursued Xia Ye Qiuyu, Noodles, and the other players from the Dragon Hatchery into Lynnhawk City, killing many as they tried to reach the main force. As she unleashed Tiamat’s power near the city walls, a Dragon Person Girl appeared with Adrian and Duke Franz to confront her.

  • Singo survived his body's death through the Soul Amulet and urged the players to lure Ulrichia out of the Dragon Hatchery so the main force could attack.
  • Xia Ye Qiuyu opened a portal to the surface, and the players escaped into Lynnhawk City, where they fought through Dragon Worship Cult guards and headed north.
  • Ulrichia burst from beneath the city and pursued the fleeing players, killing many with her storms, claws, and necromantic breath.
  • Noodles and the surviving players neared the outer city walls and heard the Empire’s main force attacking.
  • Ulrichia invoked Tiamat’s power to unleash an elemental storm, but a Dragon Person Girl arrived with Adrian and Duke Franz to face her.

Ch. 797Lord of the Rotten Swamp

Franz, Adrian, and Misha fought Ulrichia to reclaim Lynnhawk City, and Franz sacrificed himself to help Misha trap the Ancient Green Dragon with a Dragon Binding Array. • Adrian, Franz, and Misha attacked Ulrichia, who defended herself with acid magic and Tiamat’s power.
  • Franz wounded Ulrichia with his greatsword, but Tiamat’s Protection blasted him away and left him near death.
  • Ulrichia crushed Franz beneath her claws, and Misha revealed the Dragon Binding Array that trapped her and sealed her abilities.
  • Misha ordered the Sky Dreadnoughts to fire on Ulrichia, while the barrage killed Franz and left the dragon barely alive.
  • Ulrichia used her Dragon Head Scepter to send a signal north, summoning Erebus as dark clouds and acid rain spread over Lynnhawk City.

Ch. 798Red and Green

Erebos, the Lord of the Rotten Swamp, attacked the battlefield and overwhelmed the Imperial and Seleucian forces, destroying several Sky Dreadnoughts and surrounding the city with poisonous swamp waters. As Adrian and the others faced defeat, Misha summoned her contracted lord, whose immense crimson claw began emerging through a rift in the sky, leaving Erebos stunned.

  • Erebos descended onto the battlefield, and his terrifying presence shattered the human legions’ morale and drove many soldiers to flee or lose control.
  • The Sky Dreadnoughts bombarded Erebos, but he emerged unharmed and destroyed several warships with a single attack.
  • Erebos sealed the surrounding space, encircled the city with storm clouds and poisonous mud, and vowed to sacrifice everyone to Tiamat.
  • Adrian urged Misha to escape, but Misha refused and called upon her lord, the sovereign who ruled the north and commanded natural disasters.
  • A colossal rift opened in the sky, and a massive crimson dragon claw reached through as Erebos stared in disbelief.

Ch. 799Clash Between Progenitor Dragons

Keosius tore into the world and confronted Erebos, Tiamat’s chosen, over the Empire’s support for the Dragon Worship Cult’s enemies. After their negotiations failed, Erebos began testing Keosius with necromantic spells, but the Red Dragon brushed them aside and flew toward him.

  • Keosius emerged from a torn rift as an enormous Red Dragon, stunning the cultists while his Imperial followers hailed him.
  • Erebos accused Keosius of betraying Tiamat and the Five-Colored Dragon Race, but Keosius declared that he served only his Empire and would never submit to Tiamat.
  • The dragons argued over the Empire’s support for the rebels and the destruction of the Mother Goddess’s altar, then ended their negotiations and prepared to fight.
  • Keosius assessed Erebos’s size, magical equipment, and divine Tiamat’s Eye, judging the Primeval Green Dragon troublesome but not a formidable enemy.
  • Erebos attacked with necromantic spells and undead creatures, but Keosius canceled the magic and shattered the undead with ease.
  • Erebos launched more spells, which collapsed against Keosius’s scales as the Red Dragon flew straight toward him.

Ch. 800Suppression

Keosius and Erebos fought a devastating battle as the Red Dragon Emperor overcame the Primeval Green Dragon’s divine spells and drove him into close combat. Keosius pinned Erebos and shattered his wing, leaving the wounded dragon plotting a way to escape.

  • Erebos froze Keosius with Time Stop and attacked him with Tiamat’s Evil Dragon’s Destructive Gaze, but Keosius broke free and countered with Sun Breath.
  • Keosius charged through Erebos’s attacks, while the two dragons exchanged taunts about Tiamat and the fate of the Five-Colored Dragons.
  • Erebos split into eighteen incarnations and unleashed necromantic spells, but Keosius destroyed the copies and killed thousands of cultists and dragon beasts in the crossfire.
  • Keosius appeared beside Erebos, crushed him into a crater, and shattered the Magic Equipment that might have helped him escape.
  • Keosius pinned Erebos, tore his wing membrane, and snapped the wing bone while Erebos struggled and searched for a chance to escape.

Ch. 801Tiamat's Eye

Keosius battered Erebos, but Erebos activated Tiamat’s Eye and used Life Reversal to transfer his injuries onto the Red Dragon Emperor. Keosius recovered through his Progenitor Dragon blood, and Erebos trapped both dragons in a divine arena and attacked with elemental powers.

  • Keosius broke Erebos’s neck and repeatedly slammed the Primeval Green Dragon into the ground, then dragged him through the forest.
  • Keosius launched a powerful breath attack, but Erebos revealed Tiamat’s Eye and used Life Reversal to heal himself by inflicting his accumulated injuries on Keosius.
  • Keosius recovered rapidly with his Third Generation Progenitor Dragon blood and declared that he was unafraid of Tiamat’s Eye.
  • Erebos summoned a five-headed dragon phantom that enclosed the battlefield, then attacked Keosius with lightning from the Blue Dragon head.
  • Keosius evaded the lightning and advanced on Erebos, who then unleashed a freezing blizzard through the White Dragon head.

Ch. 802Dragon King's Breath

Keosius fought Erebos, who merged with Tiamat’s divine power and transformed into a godlike Primeval Green Dragon. Keosius unveiled a larger scarlet form and battled through Erebos’s elemental attacks, ending the chapter with their strongest breaths locked in a devastating clash.

  • Keosius used the Frost Giants’ stolen divine power to turn Erebos’s icy torrent back toward him, then burned away Erebos’s poisonous mist with fire.
  • Erebos fused his soul and flesh with Tiamat’s power and became a towering Primeval Green Dragon, but Keosius avoided his attacks and wounded him with blazing strikes.
  • Keosius activated his bloodline, Sun God Power, elemental laws, and Hell authority to form a massive scarlet dragon and launched a second assault.
  • Erebos abandoned close combat and summoned Tiamat’s elemental spells, forcing Keosius to dodge the relentless attacks while sustaining multiple wounds.
  • Keosius gathered power for the Breath of Annihilation as Erebos and the Five-Headed Great Dragon fired their combined breaths at him.
  • Keosius’s Breath of Annihilation collided with Erebos’s attacks, unleashing a cataclysmic shockwave as both dragons strained against each other.
