Remaining highly vigilant, she looked toward the enormous shadow and saw it continuously rising, swimming toward some point above. The proliferating organs across its surface swayed like sea anemones, and from afar, it resembled a colossal living battleship.
Though they were separated by a considerable distance, Ivette soon noticed that the giant Mutant's path had changed. It curved around to adjust its direction, and countless eyeballs on its body turned, locking onto her.
Alarm bells immediately rang in her heart. She dearly wanted to harvest the Mutation Factors within this monster, but the current environment was far too strange. She had also lost her ability to cast spells, and perhaps a Demon God was watching from the shadows.
Thus, without much hesitation, she immediately threw a Flesh Beacon downward. As the giant Mutant approached, she swapped positions with it, leaving behind only a tiny severed tentacle that dissipated into nothingness in the void.
Such a mysterious departure clearly startled the giant Mutant. It lingered in the void where Ivette had been for more than ten minutes in confusion, only raising its head and flying upward again after confirming that there truly was nothing there.
