He raised his head and gazed from the lakebed toward the western Bison Mountains, his eyes blazing. "Memories, secrets, and technology alike—all of it. I already know some of the truth behind the Calamity of Falling Skies, but there must be other information!"

Suppressing the excitement in his heart, Ian bent down and brushed aside the sand and dust on the lakebed.
Pale blue Origin Matter surged around the youth, controlling the water and forming vortices that slowly lifted the silver sand which appeared "blue" in his Precognitive Vision, piling it off to one side.
Silver sand was a special material. Its true name was "Dragon Crystal."
Though the name had startled Ian at first, after carefully examining the information fed back by the Silver Chip, the youth instead let out a somewhat disappointed sigh.
In essence, Dragon Crystal was no different from the Origin Matter crystals that dispersed from the aether crystal in Ian's left hand. Both were formed by self-origin matter mixed with a portion of biological matter, solid structures akin to fingernails and teeth.
