In the shabby newsstand, Leo held a cup of hot tea.
The place was small and run-down, but it kept out the wind and rain just fine, and it was warm inside.
"So, why did you come all the way to a place like this?" Leo asked, taking small sips of her tea.
"This is called infiltrating the enemy's rear!" A Tiao said with a grin, pushing up his glasses.
"The enemy's rear? There are enemies here?" Leo was slightly taken aback.
"Uh... it's just an exaggerated way of putting it. I'm not entirely sure either." A Tiao scratched his head.
He had actually come here for someone, but nothing had been confirmed yet, and the clues were scattered.
"Fine, but you're sure about the clues for the Sky Tear Crystal, right?" Leo asked.
"More or less. The people here call it—the Mercy of the Sky God."
"It appears once every hundred years, and the time is almost here."
A Tiao shrugged.
"The time and place." Leo's eyes lit up slightly.
Something so legendary was very likely what she was looking for.
"This thing... won't be easy to find... What do you need it for?" A Tiao asked curiously.
"It's Lord of Destiny's request," Leo replied.
"The Fate Lord of this generation... has appeared..." A Tiao frowned slightly.
"Mm. You didn't sense anything at all?"
A Tiao shook his head. "The power granted by the previous Fate Lord has long since been exhausted. Only you Star Lords can sense the Fate Lord's awakening."
"That's true..." Leo said thoughtfully. "Then hurry up and tell me where the Sky Tear Crystal is."
"At the summit of a snow mountain."
