A God King clad in gray robes viciously cursed out a group of subordinates before him, then sank back into his teeth-gritting fury.
This man was none other than the Chaos God King of the Chaos God Sect.
The Chaos God Sect of the Chaos God Domain had originally not been in the Northern Region, but in the faraway Southern Region. Yet the news of the Divine Gate Treasure had spread too far.
Even the Chaos God King, stationed in the Southern Region, had been unable to sit still. He had personally led the God Lords and Heavenly Gods of the Chaos God Sect into the Ancient Battlefield.
His original intent had been to seize the Divine Gate Treasure while he had the chance, then return to the Southern Region and contend for a place among the hundred great God Kings.
But alas.
He had miscalculated.
Only after arriving in the Ancient Battlefield had he discovered that there were far too many God Kings coveting the rumored Divine Gate Treasure. As a mid-stage God King, there were many God Kings he simply could not afford to offend.
