As he experienced the meeting of man and heaven and earth, he felt the wondrous mystery of their myriad wills flowing naturally into the Dao Fruit. He became so absorbed that he could hardly pull himself away.
Compared with three days earlier, Li Yun's aura had clearly drawn inward.
Gone was the naked dominance of his recent breakthrough. He seemed to have become a wisp of wind between heaven and earth, light and gentle.
At last, on the third day, as the sun set...
Li Yun slowly opened his eyes.
A deep starry sky lay within them, every Dao distinct. Not a ripple remained, only lucid stillness.
