As Li Yun continued cultivating, Chen Xiu left to pursue a clue to a lost gate while Shadow Ancestor was sent to investigate a possible gate in the Despair Ruins.

• Li Yun recruited Profound Venerables by purging the Immortal Being Wills within them, then ambushed Supreme Venerable Xing Huang and persuaded him to join the Immortal Slaying Hall.
• Li Yun freed Xing Huang, Tai Yan, Yuan Fang, and the other Supremes from their Immortal Being Wills, defeated Yuan Tianjun’s group, and was proclaimed Realm Lord of the Immortal Scar Realm.
• The Supreme Immortal Gate sent three thousand rays of Dao light into Li Yun, sublimating his Dao Fruits, and he challenged a golden-robed Supreme Immortal who escaped after their clash threatened the realm.

The arc ended with Zhang Ruohan and Chen Xiu departing to fight over Li Yun after he and Shadow Ancestor faced a powerful monster.

• Li Yun watched the Venerables enter an ancient Immortal City, where Azure Tiger Palace and Great Void Palace forces fought over its secrets and the gray-misted figure told him about the Ancient Seeking Heavenly Ladder.
• The Supreme Heavenly Lord explained the coming era change and the competition among old and new immortals, then agreed to protect Li Yun for a hundred years while he cultivated through the Supreme Immortal Gate.
• After absorbing the providence and Immortal Substance around the gate, Li Yun returned to the Chaos Great Void and considered establishing Zhu Xian Palace as ancient powers claimed territory.

Ancestor Wind Dragon seized control of the gate, destroyed the Great Venerable’s last will, and turned against Li Yun for the secret of his aura.

• Li Yun entered the Ancient Era Temple and arrived in the Ancient Wilderness Realm, where he met Huang Tian and agreed to help him find a way out.
• Li Yun and Huang Tian reached the Desperate Abyss, where Ancestor Wind Dragon guarded a Supreme Immortal Gate and Huang Tian sought the Secret Key hidden within it.
• Li Yun infiltrated the Supreme Immortal Gate while Huang Tian refined the Secret Key, gradually increasing his own control as Huang Tian’s cultivation rose.
• The Great Venerable of the Ancient Era manifested through the Secret Key and opposed Li Yun as Li Yun gained the majority control of the gate.
• Ancestor Wind Dragon refused the Great Venerable’s commands, then entered the gate and used bloodlight to seize control from both Li Yun and the Great Venerable.
• Ancestor Wind Dragon swallowed the blood seed formed from their lost control, scattered the Great Venerable’s final will, and drove Huang Tian from the abyss with the Secret Key.

• Zhang Ruohan and Chen Xiu told Li Yun about the worlds beyond the Chaos Great Void and explained that uniting all nine Supreme Immortal Gates could open the Secret Realm Gate and grant control of the Secret Realm.
• Li Yun gained control of the Southern Extreme Land gate despite the Supreme Heavenly Lord and the other eight Supreme Immortals trying to stop him, while Zhang Ruohan and Chen Xiu blocked their attacks.
• Li Yun absorbed the second gate, and his Immortal Truths surged from two hundred to one thousand as his strength grew.
• Li Yun teleported to the Western Extreme Land to claim another gate while Chen Xiu guarded the northern gate and Zhang Ruohan froze a Supreme Immortal who attacked her.
