• Li Yun defeated He Yiming, Bai Linsheng, and Mu Wanrong at Flying Goose Tower, then forced Ye Tianxie to concede and entered seclusion to advance toward the Innate Realm.
• Zhao Ziyue arrived in Eastern Cloud Prefecture, where the Night Emperor urged Ye Li to cultivate and Ye Tianxie told Zhao Ziyue that Li Yun was the only one worthy of her.
• Li Yun awakened Wind Listener, overheard the Night Emperor and Ye Li discussing Zhao Ziyue, and entered Cloud Dragon Zen Temple with Gu Xiaoxian after learning that its gate barred only those above the Mortal Transformation Realm.
• On the grassland, Li Yun killed Tang Yizhou and his allies, reunited with Ye Tianxie and Zhao Ziyue, and learned that they suspected the Demonic Monks were connected to the vanished temple.
• Li Yun discovered that the grassland was a Great Five Elements Inverting Illusion Array, studied it until he mastered the Five Elements Array, and found three possible routes through the illusion.
• Li Yun led Zhao Ziyue and Ye Tianxie through all three routes, but they encountered a Sea of Fire, an ocean, and a dark Abyss guarded by a giant Demonic Face.
• Li Yun upgraded his Primordial Array, then split open the Sea of Fire with repeated punches and led Zhao Ziyue and Ye Tianxie through its narrowing passage before it vanished.

Li Yun mastered Myriad Miles of Ice Seal, reunited with Zhao Ziyue and Ye Tianxie, and destroyed the demonic force behind the ancient temple. After gaining new cultivation techniques and helping his companions recover, the group left the forest and reached the Ascending Cloud Path.

• Li Yun crossed the Desperate Ice Plain, rescued Fan Yunqing, and killed him after Fan Yunqing tried to stab him, then faced the deadly Tornado Storm and rejected the Demonic Face’s offer.
• Li Yun advanced his spiritual cultivation with the Heavenly Heart Lotus, mastered Myriad Miles of Ice Seal, and used it to find Zhao Ziyue and Ye Tianxie and destroy the Demonic Face.
• Li Yun and Zhao Ziyue found martial artists being driven mad by the bells of an ancient temple, and Li Yun stopped their rush while resisting the bell’s influence.
• Li Yun completed the Wuwei Sutra and met Old Daoist Wuchen in his Mind Dao Palace, then learned the Soul Cleansing Curse and used it to destroy the Middle-aged Demonic Monk and seize the Bronze Ancient Bell.
• Old Daoist Wuchen gave Li Yun ten Innate Cultivation Techniques and warned him to conceal his identity from Zhentian Palace, while Li Yun fused the techniques and advanced to the Mortal Shedding Realm Fourth Layer.
• Li Yun found Zhang Ruohan and purged her Demonic Contamination, then gave her, Zhao Ziyue, and Ye Tianxie treasures to improve their cultivation and comprehension.

Li Yun won the race to the summit and advanced through a series of deadly martial trials while rival geniuses and Wantu Kingdom’s prodigies followed behind. Xu Ming helped Zhao Ziyue’s group catch up, while Li Yun overcame the Seventh Stone Chamber’s Buddha-nature restriction and briefly connected with a distant existence.

• Li Yun reached the Ascending Cloud Path with Zhao Ziyue and Zhang Ruohan, while Ye Tianxie fought Night Emperor’s men and drove them down the steps.
• Li Yun defeated thirteen challengers in succession, overheard Xie Yu'an and Yang Yundu plotting against him, and used Demonic Contamination to turn Xie Yu'an away from their plan.
