Some leaned against cloud pillars, some sat cross-legged upon cloud carpets, and some stood with their hands clasped behind their backs.
Five men and two women, each with a different bearing and temperament, yet all carrying the composure and scrutiny of those in high positions.
After hearing this, and seeing Yu Shenzhao's current expression, everyone found it somewhat strange.
A few days ago, Yu Shenzhao had not spoken this way. He had said he had found a promising prospect, with even a rare note of appreciation in his voice.

"I am not so petty. Although his performance disappointed me, by my principles, he is still a living being of the Black Life Realm—one of those I must save. I will not casually deprive a living being of life because of personal likes and dislikes."
His words sounded lofty and righteous, and he appeared wholly sincere,
