Background

Chen Duan began as a butcher in Blackwater City and cared for his adoptive father, Chen Kang. After Chen Kang died, leaving a jade peace buckle and a request for vengeance, Chen Duan resumed the meat stall while secretly becoming the feared Butcher of the Rainy Night. 3

He entered Fuhu Martial Arts School as a new disciple, where Qian Changchun recognized his unusual potential. Chen Duan endured brutal body-tempering, rapidly advanced in Fuhu Fist, and developed a reputation for defeating stronger opponents despite his humble origins. 8 16 20 65
