"We'd rather die than go back to Immortan Joe."
The five beauties shouted at once. They were Immortan Joe's women—or rather, breeding tools. Unwilling to accept their fate, they had chosen to escape with Capable.
Max added, "We can't go back. Immortan Joe is no good. When they captured me, they not only took my car, they took my blood too."
Peter looked at Andrew, wanting to plead for the five gorgeous women. Men were just like that—easy enough to understand.
Andrew asked, "First, tell me why this world became like this."
"Huh?"
Everyone stared at Andrew in shock. Why would he ask something like that? Was he an alien?
"I've been hiding in the mountains, cultivating magic, and didn't know what was happening outside. I recently came out of seclusion and discovered the world had become a wasteland. I want to know what happened."
Andrew said this was the standard answer for a transmigrator. Since ancient times, any transmigrator who arrived in person would say the same thing.
Everyone looked at him as if he had taken them for fools. That excuse was far too absurd.
Seeing this, Andrew turned to Peter, who looked utterly confused. Andrew said, "Show everyone your flying magic."
"Oh, got it."
Peter caught on. He crouched halfway down, then suddenly jumped half a meter into the air. Then, uh, he landed back on the ground.
Max sneered. "To be honest, I'm a magician too, because I can do that as well."
"Is that so? Then please give us a demonstration later."
Andrew glanced at Max, then said to Peter, "Again."
"I won't fail this time."
Peter was a little embarrassed and a little annoyed. He took a deep breath and crouched again. Then, like a rocket, he shot into the sky and flew freely
