Andrew smiled but said no more. He asked Peter, "Peter, why did you call me here? You don't look like you're in danger."
"I'm not in danger. Or rather, not right now."
Peter waved his hand and said, "I came to Texas with Claire to investigate Mister Banner. He found us soon enough. After a fight and some explanations, we finally sat down and had a proper talk."
Banner was a top agent, so it was perfectly normal for him to discover Peter. After all, Peter was merely an ordinary person with an ability.
"My father told me everything. He really is an agent."
Claire continued, "The organization he works for really is hostile toward Ability Users, but he never intended to hand me over to them. He has always been protecting me."
Andrew looked at Banner, who said, "Claire is my daughter. I would never hurt her."
