Death answered casually. Compared with Thanos, Homelander was an even bigger suck-up. There was no helping it; he had mental issues.

Homelander was a little disappointed. He wanted to say more, but just then, the door opened, and Madelyn walked in with a woman in a tight black leather outfit. She was quite pretty, just a little short.

The woman was holding a phone and seemed to be livestreaming.

"Madelyn, I told you we had something important to deal with today. Don't disturb us."

Homelander frowned when he saw Madelyn enter, but he didn't lose his temper. Although he had now "fallen for someone else," he still had some feelings for Madelyn.

Homelander wasn't all that heartless. He treated everyone he had once liked pretty well—or rather, he thought he did.

Madelyn glanced at Homelander. Why wasn't he as enthusiastic toward her as before? His eyes used to light up when he saw her. Now, that light was gone.

Then Madelyn shook her head and pointed at the woman in leather. "This is the superhero Stormfront. She'll be replacing Queen Maeve as the newest member of the Seven."

"What?"

Everyone was startled. Stormfront raised her phone and waved to both the superheroes and her viewers. "Hi, everyone. I'm Stormfront. We'll be teammates from now on. Oh, and meet my fans. A lot of them are your fans too.

"Honestly, this place is a little smaller than I imagined. Not grand enough."

Everyone raised their hands in slightly awkward greetings. Homelander was furious. "Why didn't I know about this? I'm the captain of the Seven. Shouldn't roster changes be cleared with me first?"

"This wasn't my decision. You know I would have asked you first. This was an order from our CEO, Edgar."
