"Just grab someone to play with us. It's only an evil god's game. It can't amount to much."
Galacta spoke casually, clearly thinking little of the game.
Andrew considered it, then said, "I'll bring someone who can't die, then, so we don't get anyone killed."
With that, Andrew summoned Claire. Suddenly appearing in an unfamiliar room gave Claire quite a fright, and she only relaxed when she saw Andrew.
Claire asked, "Mr. Wang, did you teleport me here?"

"The Chessboard Game. Who wants to go first?"
Andrew explained the game briefly and asked the others. Galacta immediately said, "Me! Me!"
With that, Galacta picked up the two dice and tossed them onto the board. Her luck was pretty good: one landed on five and the other on six, for a total of eleven.
Then a green piece activated and moved forward eleven spaces. A line of text appeared on the green screen in the middle: "They hunt you in the night, so run for your life. These winged creatures aren't much fun, but they're terrifying."
"Terrifying? I wonder if they're edible. If they are, I'll show them who's more terrifying."
Galacta scoffed. Before she finished speaking, a dense flurry of wingbeats suddenly sounded around them. Then the window shattered, and
