The First Commander glanced at Homelander but did not stop him. No matter what, they should kill those players first. Just then, Homelander's lasers blasted straight at the First Commander. Clearly, Andrew had interfered with his mind again.
In Homelander's eyes, the First Commander had turned into Andrew, his enemy. Naturally, he attacked. Under the influence of Mind Ability, Homelander ignored the surrounding circumstances.
The First Commander never expected to be attacked by one of its own. It was struck head-on by two lasers and staggered backward again and again.
"You're courting death."
The First Commander flew into a rage and controlled all the Flame Ravens to dive at Homelander. Homelander raised his head and used his lasers to blow every Flame Raven apart.
Just as the First Commander was about to continue attacking, Death's voice suddenly rang out in its mind. Death briefly explained the situation, then said, "That man is your true enemy. Don't act rashly."
"I can let this slide once, but what if he does it again?"
The First Commander cursed. It was not in the habit of taking a beating without fighting back.
"He won't. That bastard has used this move before. I've already figured out how to counter it."
Death said. Then, a black light descended from the sky and landed between Homelander's brows, forming a new eye—the Death's Eye.
With the Death's Eye, Homelander would no longer be fooled by Illusion. He would even be able to see through Andrew's illusions.
Why had Death waited so long to give Homelander the Death's Eye? Because she did not want Andrew to discover where her true body was, so she had taken several detours.
Of course, Death did not know that Andrew had already discovered her location.
"I finally got rid of that damned Illusion."
