"S.W.O.R.D.?"
Everyone was stunned. They had never heard that name before. Was it a United Nations agency? And it was responsible for saving the world? Was it really that impressive?
The President of America stared at the screen in front of him, his expression darkening. What happened to having the best network team in the world? Why had someone hacked them so effortlessly?
"Earlier, New York was destroyed in a nuclear explosion. Through tireless efforts, we at S.W.O.R.D. finally reversed time and saved everyone."
Andrew continued, "This crisis is now officially over. However, I must warn you humans: stop courting death. Bringing nuclear bombs into New York, for example. Tempt fate too many times, and you really will die."
With that, all the screens returned to normal. The public was somewhat bewildered. What had happened earlier had not been a dream—it had really happened. But thanks to S.W.O.R.D., time had been reversed, and they had come back to life.
The problem was, wasn't reversing time a little too incredible? Even The Seven couldn't do that, could they?

Many people were deeply grateful. After all, Andrew had saved their lives. Of course, plenty were skeptical too. It all sounded far too unbelievable.
Besides gratitude and skepticism, the public's strongest emotion was anger. They were furious at the authorities for being too incompetent to protect them, and furious that the authorities had brought nuclear bombs into New York and detonated them.
In truth, the authorities had not detonated the bombs, but the public did not know that. All they saw was that New York had been nuked, and that they had died once.
How terrifying was the experience of death? The fear, anger, helplessness, and despair in their hearts needed an outlet.
