"Casting the spell to enter the Mirror Space takes a little time. Maxim is watching us, so we have no opening. You're the only one who can do it."
While fighting Maxim, Balthazar used magical communication to tell Dave how to enter the Mirror Space. As for everything else, Dave would have to handle it himself.
"I have a feeling this is going to go horribly wrong."
Dave sighed and ran up to a mirror. Then, using the method Balthazar had taught him, he interfered with the microcosmic world while charging into the mirror.
Crash! The mirror shattered, and Dave nearly injured himself. He swore and went off to find another mirror to try.
An experienced mage could actually enter the Mirror Space through mirror fragments, but Dave clearly could not.
While Dave searched for mirrors, Soldier Boy led the superheroes toward Crow Boss and the other dark mages. The two sides soon clashed at close quarters, and a fierce battle erupted.
Crow Boss raised both hands, sending a barrage of ice spikes at Soldier Boy. Soldier Boy raised his shield, blocking the spikes as he rapidly closed in on Crow Boss.
Crow Boss fought while retreating, hoping to use his old trick and lure Soldier Boy into a magic array. Of course, it was not the same one as before—Soldier Boy was not that stupid—but another array.
Soldier Boy pretended not to notice the magic array and rushed toward Crow Boss. Before long, he entered its range.
These superheroes really are brainless.
Delighted, Crow Boss activated the magic array. Magical light surged up and engulfed Soldier Boy.
"No way!"
The viewers cried out in shock. Even the president jumped to his feet in alarm. If Soldier Boy was banished too, they would be in serious trouble.
