"Nathan!"
Seeing Nathan knocked flying, Peter immediately tried to go help him. Just then, a violent buzzing suddenly rang in his ears, making him scream again and collapse to his knees.
Another Ability User seized the opportunity to step forward and kicked Peter hard in the cheek with his metal right foot, knocking him unconscious.
"Peter."
Nathan shouted, but he could not break free from the other Ability Users restraining him. At that moment, Linderman walked out of the collection room and said to a scrawny Ability User, "Jeff, your turn."
The scrawny Ability User, Jeff, nodded. His body turned into a sheet of skin and covered Peter. This ability could not only control someone else, but also use their abilities. It was exceedingly powerful.

Nathan could not help swearing when he saw this. Linderman shook his head and gestured for the others to leave, leaving only the few of them behind. Then, Jeff controlled Peter's body and obediently stood behind Linderman.
Linderman said to Nathan, "Nathan, we are not enemies. As I said, call Angela. She'll tell you everything."

Nathan gritted his teeth, took out his phone, and called Angela. He said, "Mother, tell me all of this is fake."
