"His Imperial Majesty?"
Everyone was stunned. Then half of them looked at Stormfront, while the other half looked at the president, waiting for their decision.
Although Stormfront had her own ideas, she still turned to the president. After a moment's thought, he asked, "Who is this emperor of yours?"
The robot replied, "His Imperial Majesty is the most perfect person in this world, the Savior of all worlds, and the supreme Director of S.W.O.R.D."
The first half of the robot's answer made everyone inwardly scoff at the man's shamelessness. But when they heard the final title, most of them grew excited. It was the Director of S.W.O.R.D.?
If it was the Director of S.W.O.R.D., then those earlier descriptions were perfectly justified. After all, the Director of S.W.O.R.D. really was perfect.
"Andrew is the emperor? Wow, now that's exciting."
Whatever Annie was imagining, her eyes began to shine—literally.
Of course, not everyone was excited. Stormfront, for instance, looked rather grim. The Director of S.W.O.R.D. was actually this world's emperor. Didn't that put her in danger?
"The Director of S.W.O.R.D.?"
Unlike the outsiders, the human agents were utterly bewildered. They had never even heard of him! Besides, wasn't he supposed to be a director? How had he become His Imperial Majesty?
"Take us to Mr. Wang immediately."
The president spoke at once. Truthfully, he had wanted to meet Andrew Wang for a long time. There were many things he wanted to discuss with him, such as protecting the world.
Besides, finding Andrew Wang meant finding safety. He was far more reliable than Vought International.
"This way, please."
The robot extended a hand. Then a spacecraft descended from the sky and opened its hatch in front of them.
Without another word, the president immediately boarded the spacecraft, and the others followed close behind.
