Will snorted. Sarah shook her head and said, "Enough about that. Hurry up and get to work. With so many newcomers around, you might get fired if you don't show some initiative."

"Oh, and if the people in charge dock your pay or demand you work overtime for free, don't quit, and don't lose your temper. At least not for now. Jobs are going to be very hard to find."

"They know jobs are hard to find right now, so they'll definitely dock my pay. Those people are like jackals. Give them an opening, and they'll always take a bite out of you."
