Gandalf sensed the Uruk-hai approaching through detection magic and hurriedly led the remaining Ents away.

The Ents were enormous and powerful in battle, but they had one fatal weakness: they moved slowly. Watching them crawl along like turtles, Gandalf could not help complaining, "Can't you move a little faster?"
