Hearing Aragorn's shout, everyone was shocked. Was Aragorn about to turn evil?
Boromir, Faramir, King Théoden, and the others wore grim expressions. Was Aragorn going to follow in his ancestor's footsteps?

Arwen hurriedly called out and flew swiftly toward Aragorn. Hearing Arwen's voice, a flicker of clarity flashed through Aragorn's eyes.

That was also why the Nazgûl were not very intelligent. Of the nine Nazgûl, only the Witch-king of Angmar possessed a complete consciousness. He enjoyed his current life and fanatically worshipped Sauron.
Seeing two more rings flying toward him, Aragorn's expression changed drastically. He immediately swung his hand at them, but the moment the rings touched his palm, they automatically slipped onto his fingers.
Now Aragorn possessed three Rings of Men. The clarity in his eyes immediately vanished. He roared, "Submit to me! Anyone who refuses to submit
