The demon was very pleased. After being controlled, Marcus did not turn on his allies immediately. He continued making a show of fighting the Werewolf Soldiers while shouting in the vampires' own language:
"All members of the Blood Clan, obey my orders. Come out of the underground parking garage and ambush the werewolves. Don't worry. I'll take care of the sunlight."
In fact, vampires had not originally had a special language. Later, some vampires who considered themselves nobility had cobbled together a new language. Since vampires lived forever, they had all learned it.
"Ambush the werewolves?"
The vampires were stunned. Hadn't he just called them allies? How had that turned into an ambush already? What a messy crowd.
Despite their confusion, the vampires rushed out of the underground parking garage toward the battlefield, with the Werewolf Soldiers behind them pretending to give chase.
