"St. Patrick's Cathedral? That Gothic church?"
Andrew wasted no words. He snapped his fingers and teleported to St. Patrick's Cathedral with Adam and Tracy.
Then Andrew looked up and saw many new stone carvings above the church that looked much like Gargoyles, except that they all had angel wings.
"This might be a little rude, but these angels are kind of ugly."
Andrew cracked a joke. Adam was a little taken aback. Did the Director of S.W.O.R.D. care about looks just like ordinary people?
"They really are. It's hard to imagine they're angels," Tracy agreed with a nod.
"The Gargoyle forms are merely disguises, not our true appearances."
A pleasant voice rang out. Then a gentle-looking blonde woman with a mature, intellectual air hurried out of the church, accompanied by a fierce-looking man dressed as a Roman soldier.
"Hello, Director of S.W.O.R.D. I am Queen Lenu of the Night-walking Divine Dragon. This is my guard, Gideon."
Lenu bowed to Andrew and introduced herself. Gideon bowed as well. Beside them, Adam secretly snorted. Gideon had been unbearably arrogant toward him, yet he was so respectful before the Director of S.W.O.R.D.
Although they were angels, they could hardly put on airs before the Director of S.W.O.R.D. Quite apart from anything else, people had long been saying that the Director of S.W.O.R.D. was God descended to earth.
"Hello, Queen Lenu."
Andrew nodded, a strange glint flashing through his eyes. Queen Lenu looked exactly like Éowyn. Apparently, they had been played by the same actress.
Then Lenu invited the three of them into the hall and served them tea.
After exchanging pleasantries, Andrew got straight to the point. "I came to see Adam about something and happened to find him killing demons. Adam said demons were your old enemies, so I'd like to learn
