The crowd erupted into applause and cheers at the sight. Soldier Boy was still dependable.
King Bowser's expression darkened. He stepped to the front and shouted at the approaching Soldier Boy, "Are you one of those so-called superheroes?"
"You're the so-called King Bowser? I have to say, you're really ugly."
Soldier Boy sneered. King Bowser flew into a rage and shouted, "Superhero, you've angered me. You're dead today."
"Then let's find out."
Soldier Boy did not waste words. He hurled the shield in his hand at King Bowser with all his strength. Just as King Bowser was about to block it, a figure appeared out of thin air before him and used Telekinesis to freeze the shield in midair.
The figure was Old Sera. He said coldly, "Soldier Boy, I'll deal with you."
With that, Old Sera grabbed the shield. His hand then transformed into a Flame Hand, rapidly heating the shield until it glowed red-hot. He flung it hard, and the shield smashed toward Soldier Boy.
Soldier Boy raised his hand and caught the flying shield with perfect precision. The intense heat on it did not affect him in the slightest.
"You're Ravagers from the Hero Squad? Why are you standing with the enemy?"
Soldier Boy asked in astonishment. Ravagers was Old Sera's title. Superheroes generally used titles and rarely went by their real names.
The audience was equally shocked. Ravagers had actually defected?
