Perseus had no idea why, but he obediently did as told. He casually found an excuse and took Ling E away. Draco, the squad captain, was extremely displeased by this. In truth, he had never liked Demigods much to begin with.
"Perseus, why did you suddenly bring me here?"
In a secluded corner, Ling E looked at Perseus and asked in confusion. Just as Perseus was about to answer, Andrew teleported them both into the hall, where they stood with the Princess inside the Magic Array.
Ling E's expression changed when she saw Andrew. Though she did not know who he was, he was clearly at the level of a god.
"I won't waste words. Perseus, your strength is far from enough to deal with gods, so I plan to summon superheroes from other worlds to help you."
Andrew waved a hand and said, "Ling E, you'll join as well. Only strength can help you escape your original Fate. Of course, before we begin, you must first pledge loyalty to me."
"As long as I can escape this damned Fate, I'm willing to pledge loyalty to you."
Ling E froze for a moment, then respectfully lowered her head to Andrew. She was an intelligent woman and understood how to assess the situation.
Ling E was the female lead of the first installment. She possessed a great deal of World's Favor, enough to summon superheroes.
"Superheroes from other worlds?"
Perseus looked utterly bewildered. He was merely an uneducated fisherman and had no idea what Andrew was talking about. In fact, not only him—even the nobles would not have understood that sentence.
