Van Helsing hastily pulled out the spear and retreated, healing his injuries with Holy Light. The wound rapidly closed at a speed visible to the naked eye.
"Feel our pain now? Hahaha, birdman, whatever injuries you inflict on us, you'll suffer the same wounds yourself."
Aunt Kara laughed heartily. This was her Monster Ability: any damage suffered by her and the companions she had marked would be mirrored onto Van Helsing.
Aunt Kara was an Iron-blooded Kryptonian Warrior. Her subordinates had developed a kind of sonic wave that could control other living beings when activated. She had intended to use it to enslave other worlds.
Unfortunately, the Kryptonian Elder Council did not approve of Aunt Kara's methods and sent Kara's mother to capture her. Aunt Kara felt betrayed and swore that one day, she would make Kara's mother suffer the same pain.
Thus, after Aunt Kara became a monster, she developed this Rule Ability. Her strength was not far from that of a Skyfather, and this Rule Ability was immensely powerful.
Simply put, the stronger the creature, the more terrifying its Rule Ability. Even Van Helsing could not resist it. Fortunately, he was an Archangel and could use Holy Light to heal himself while offsetting part of the Power of Rules. In other words, his injuries were reduced by half.
"Hurting the enemy means hurting myself? What a damn nuisance."
Van Helsing's expression darkened. He then gripped the Kryptonian spear and said, "Even so, I'll kill every last one of you. Your race is truly disgusting."
"If you've got what it takes, then try it. We Kryptonians are the strongest, most perfect race, like gods."
Aunt Kara snorted coldly and led everyone in surrounding Van Helsing again. Van Helsing showed no mercy. In a flash, he
