Director Newman's words made Andrew blurt out, "Wow, I really didn't see that twist coming."
"They found nothing wrong during the initial inspection, but the airline wasn't reassured, so they specifically hired a superhero to check again."
Director Newman continued, "This superhero is called Mechanic. His ability lets him hear mechanical creations speak. His dream was to become a superhero, but over time, he gradually became a repairman.
The moment he touched the plane, he told the others that one of its components was faulty. If the plane had actually taken off that night, that component would have caused it to explode.
In other words, what that college student dreamed about was real. He saved everyone on the plane."
The same incident, in a different world, led to a completely different outcome.
Andrew shook his head inwardly, then asked, "That really is unexpected. But why did you come to me so solemnly over something like this?"
"Because that college student said this wasn't a coincidence. They would still be in danger afterward, and they would die one after another. Eventually, everyone on the plane would die."
Director Newman said, "At first, everyone was skeptical about that claim. But over the past few days, four college students have already died.
All four died in accidents. The first missed his footing on his way home and fell into a sewer. Our investigation found that the manhole cover had been destroyed earlier during a battle between a superhero and a supervillain.
The police had put up barriers around the opening, but a few Black people kicked them around like balls. As a result, that college student fell in and died horribly."
"A string of accidents led to the student's death."
Andrew spoke. That was very much like Final Destination. The movie killed people
