"Go see Absolem."

Everyone nodded. The Bald Twins ran over and shouted in unison at Alice, "Alice, come down. This time, we'll take you to see Absolem."

"This time?"

Alice was confused. Of course, she was not going to come down. Those Bald Twins did not look like good people.

"Let's go. I'll follow behind you."

Andrew said. Mr. Rabbit and Dormouse exchanged glances and reluctantly headed forward. The Bald Twins did not mind, chattering nonstop beside Andrew and Alice. The more Alice listened, the more confused she became. Were they talking about someone else? She had never been to this world.

Before long, they arrived where Absolem was. He was a blue-green caterpillar lying atop a mushroom and smoking a hookah, clouds of smoke billowing from his mouth. He looked utterly content.

"Absolem."

Mr. Rabbit, Dormouse, and the Bald Twins greeted the caterpillar at the same time. Absolem took a deep drag from his hookah before opening his hazy eyes and looking over at them.

Absolem's gaze quickly settled on Alice. He nodded in satisfaction, but then he noticed Andrew's faintly smiling expression and jolted in alarm, even forgetting to smoke his hookah.

Absolem asked Andrew, "Who are you? Why is your Fate a mass of chaos?"

"Perhaps because you're not qualified to inspect my Fate."

Andrew smiled. Mr. Rabbit and the other animals were furious at his words. In their hearts, Absolem was the most noble of beings, as noble as the White Queen.

"Perhaps."

Absolem was not angry, or rather, he did not dare to be. He asked, "Will you harm the Underground Kingdom?"

Andrew did not answer. He merely leaked a trace of Goddess Alice's aura. Sensing that vast, radiant presence, Absolem let out a long breath and respectfully nodded to Andrew.
