"Savior?"
Hearing the term, Merovingian said disdainfully, "The so-called Savior is nothing more than a pawn of the Architect and the Oracle. He is nothing."
"With your pathetic attitude, you dare look down on the Savior?"
Andrew wore a disdainful expression. Merovingian was basically one of those fallen aristocrats: incapable of doing anything, yet constantly looking down on this and despising that simply because of his high birth.
Merovingian's face flushed red with anger, but he did not dare lose his temper. Ball Flower looked at him with contempt from the side. He was not a man at all. Andrew was far better—strong and mighty.
Just then, Alice seemed to receive some news and said to Andrew, "Neo has returned to the Matrix World."
"Good. Let's go meet the Savior."
Andrew nodded and led everyone out of the hall. In the corridor, a group of programs, including Twin Ghosts, were waiting for them. When they emerged, they all bowed and shouted, "Boss."
Merovingian gritted his teeth. The "Boss" these people called was not him, but Andrew. In just a few days, they had all chosen to submit to Andrew, just like Ball Flower.
The reason was simple. Andrew was a real man, unlike Merovingian, who was merely a coward afraid of death. Besides, Andrew could do everything Merovingian could do.
"Come with me. I will lead you to freedom."
Andrew spoke, and everyone cheered in unison. Freedom was not something only humans desired; programs desired it as well.
The Resistance's Secret Base was located inside a shabby three-story building. Neo had returned to the Matrix World, his expression somewhat complicated. Who could have imagined that this world was actually fake? Even more absurdly, he was the Savior?
Though he was indeed handsome, how had he become the Savior?
"I
