Facing everyone's doubts, Nick Fury said in a deep voice. He was not being cowardly; he had simply recognized reality.
As S.H.I.E.L.D.'s director, Nick Fury was a man who cared only about results. For example, if killing a hundred people could save the world, he would kill those hundred people without hesitation.
Right now, only Andrew could stand against Galactus and those zombie superheroes. Therefore, Andrew was the highest priority. Fury needed to support him so he could fight those enemies without interference.
Of course, that did not mean Nick Fury had submitted to Andrew. He was merely obeying the bigger picture. Once humanity was saved, his goal would shift from assisting Andrew to restraining him, or even eliminating him.
In the peace era, an invincible man was not a Savior, but the world's greatest threat.
Furthermore, Nick Fury chose to assist rather than control Andrew mainly because of the dominance Andrew had displayed. It was obvious that this man could not be controlled, nor could he be bound by moral righteousness. So, assistance was the only option.
"I support it. He's strong enough to Command humanity."
Abomination immediately said. He was straightforward: as long as someone was stronger than him, everything was negotiable. Even after spending decades in prison, his thinking had not changed.
Quite a few superheroes and supervillains likewise chose to submit to Andrew. Of course, many were still hesitant. War Machine, for example, obeyed only the Military's orders.
