Unfortunately, a man's worth invited trouble. After an accident exposed his abilities, Vought Pharmaceutical Company discovered him. Delighted by their find, they immediately staged a car accident and brought him to the laboratory.
The King of Abilities refused to cooperate with the experiments, so Sophia had an Ability User erase his memories and suppress his thoughts, preventing him from forming a new self. That made him more suitable as an experimental subject, and he would not resist.
This cleansing was a complete deletion, with no possibility of recovery unless the King of Abilities understood the Time Rule and used the Power of Time to restore his memories.
Andrew did understand it, but he had no interest in restoring the King of Abilities' memories. After all, the King of Abilities was already his avatar—the King of Abilities' soul had been taken away by him and would be sent to Hell in the future.
Amid everyone's horrified and baffled stares, Andrew floated up from the ground. Then, a suit rapidly appeared on his body, followed by a white cape with the word "Ability" written on its back, which snapped into existence.
Well, these days, whether superhero or villain, everyone needed a cape. What, it was impractical and dangerous? So what? The important thing was that it looked cool!
Sophia stared at everything in stunned disbelief. The King of Abilities had not only developed self-awareness, but even aesthetic taste, creating his own costume. How was that possible?
