Ashley and Blair both nodded. Then Blair asked that question with some concern. Andrew smiled. "Don't underestimate a former second-rate superhero."

Blair corrected him, then let go, allowing Andrew to drop toward the defensive line below. Ashley did the same, though she set Monica down near the defensive line.

Blair didn't move to help. The old man had told her to let go, and with his intelligence, he must have anticipated this.
Sure enough, Andrew smiled faintly in midair and swapped places with the Transparent Sacrifice Superpowered Individual. Before the latter could work out what had happened, the shockwave struck him and sent him flying backward with a scream, blood pouring from his mouth.
