Andrew was somewhat startled when he heard that voice, because it belonged to Galactus. He asked, "You don't seem to be this universe's Galactus. And why do you recognize me?"
"I'm the Galactus who made that wager with you."
Galactus said, "I'm different from the other Creation Gods. All versions of Galactus are one, so I can contact you through this Galactus."
Andrew scoffed. "So that's how it works. Hah, this is the first time I've learned that avatars can come in defective versions."
Galactus's expression darkened a little. Still, this avatar really was quite a failure. His appearance was one thing, but the real problem was that he had no intelligence whatsoever. He was practically a wild beast.
Galactus promptly changed the subject. "I knew it was you because I remember your essence. Don't worry. No one else can sense it, and I won't tell anyone."
Galactus was a being from the previous cosmic epoch, an extremely special existence unlike the Creation Gods. He also had a special mission.
"Galactus, what did you contact me for?"
Andrew asked, "So many versions of Galactus have died throughout the multiversal universe, but I've never seen you step in to stop it. I assume you don't care about that sort of thing."
"Every Galactus has his own fate. I won't interfere or prevent it."
Galactus said, "But it would be a shame for this Galactus to die like this. Bring Galacta here. I'll cooperate with her and turn this Galactus into her strength."
"So you want to give your daughter a cheat."
Andrew understood. Galactus might look like a tough guy and a monster, but he was actually a doting father who would give anything for his daughter.
