"Yes, those monsters were all my creations."
At the mention of this, Iron Great Tree wore a deeply aggrieved expression. "At first, I didn't know Tower Defense Game existed. I made robots purely because I was bored and lacked a sense of security.
"Who would have thought that after Tower Defense Game began, every robot I made—whether successful, failed, or damaged—would be transferred away and turned into monsters?
"The first few waves were all inferior products, but later, real robots will appear, the fully armed kind. The final wave will even be on the same level as Citadel Robots.
"Fuck, I worked so hard to create all of those! Secret Realm Game transferred every last one without even notifying me, leaving me with only the robots in The Citadel."
"Actually, it didn't leave you with much."
Andrew laughed. "Because you and the robots in The Citadel are also part of the game content. When the time comes, all of you will have to appear."
"Right, it didn't leave me anything at all. Even I was packaged up and taken away."
Iron Great Tree came to its senses and couldn't help swearing. Who designed this damn game? It was far too shady! What? Boss designed it? Uh, never mind then.
"Looks like all these Compound V Big Trees are attached to the Secret Realm and aren't as free as I imagined."
Andrew understood. Before the Secret Realm opened—before the Script appeared—the Compound V Big Trees could only develop in the Secret Realm step by step. Once the Script began, they would become NPCs and help complete it.
As for the robots Iron Great Tree created becoming part of the game, the game was not screwing it over. Without Iron Great Tree, the monsters attacking Crystal would have been natives.
