Hades's words left Anna speechless. This guy seemed a little unreliable. The King of Abilities was better; although his character was awful, as long as he stood there, she felt safe.
"Why does someone with such terrible character give people such a strong sense of security?"
Anna complained. Then, she stopped wasting time and focused on completing her reincarnation. Whether Hades was reliable or not, she had to recover her combat strength as soon as possible. After all, this was a battlefield.
Though Hades lacked confidence, he was still quite dependable. He appeared directly above the prison, firing Death Rays at the sacrificing soldiers as if they cost nothing.
The soldiers had not completed their sacrifice yet. If they were struck by the Death Rays, both their bodies and souls would be annihilated. The sacrifice would then be interrupted, and the Great Demon God Phantom Image would dissipate.
At that moment, a massive amount of seawater burst from the ground, forming a shield around the Sacrifice Legion's soldiers. The Death Rays entered the seawater, with about half of them vanishing while the rest continued toward the soldiers.
Poseidon had secretly left this seawater behind when transporting troops earlier. He had thought he could use it to block Hades's Death Rays, but he had not expected Hades to be much stronger than him now, so he could only intercept part of them.
Moreover, intercepting the Death Rays came at a price. Poseidon's seawater, along with the Divine Power within it, all died, splashing down toward the ground.
Fortunately, Poseidon was not alone. The Sacrifice Legion soldiers' armor had all been manufactured by the Iron Great Tree. At its command, the armor disassembled and flew into the air.
Then, the armor combined into an iron wall that emitted a chill, blocking the
