What surprised Hades did not end there. As the Iron Great Tree attacked, Poseidon launched an assault as well, directly freezing the blood inside Hades's body.
"Impossible!"
Hades cried out in disbelief. There was indeed blood within a god's body, and since most of blood was water, someone who possessed the corresponding Water-Type Rule could theoretically control God Blood.
But that was only theoretical. A Divine Body itself had extremely strong resistance, and Divine Power within a god's body protected the God Blood.
Therefore, unless the opponent injured him and sent a portion of the Power of Rules into his blood, it was almost impossible for them to control his God Blood.
He had only just begun fighting Poseidon. Forget sending the Power of Rules into his body, Poseidon was more than a thousand meters away from him. How could Poseidon possibly control his God Blood under such circumstances?
Moreover, Poseidon specialized in the Sea Rule. Though it was also a branch of the Water Rule, its focus was different. The sea had no ability to control blood, so how exactly had Poseidon done it?
Poseidon naturally had no intention of explaining. The training he had received was no less intense than Hades's and the Iron Great Tree's, and his strength was completely different from before.
With his God Blood frozen, Hades failed to escape the attack and was struck head-on by the Black Hole Oblivion Cannon, his entire body reduced to ashes.
Yet the Iron Great Tree and Poseidon did not rejoice. Instead, they frowned, because there was no reason Hades should have died so easily. Sure enough, the next second, a new Hades appeared amid a cloud of black mist.
Though he had escaped disaster, Hades's expression was awful. What he had just used was the Substitute Death
