"Our lord is about to descend."

Kaecilius strode excitedly toward the central magic circle. Just then, Strange descended from the sky with the help of the Cloak of Levitation and hovered before him.

"Strange?"

Kaecilius snorted. "I really don't understand. Why did The Ancient One choose you instead of me?"

"With you looking like that, any normal person would choose me, okay?"

Strange looked at Kaecilius and quipped, "Come on, old man. Aren't you a little old for your edgy phase?"

Kaecilius's mouth twitched. This guy was as annoying as ever. "I'll make The Ancient One realize that not choosing me was her greatest mistake."

Strange raised a magic shield in each hand and shouted, "Come on!"

Kaecilius spread his hands. The surrounding space shattered, dragging Strange into the Mirror Dimension.

Strange froze. Before he could do anything, countless black magical ropes emerged from thin air and bound him in midair.

Then a mass of black light landed on Strange's right hand and forcibly snatched away Wong's Ring.

"You're nowhere near qualified to fight me. Strange, future Sorcerer Supreme, I'll let you live to witness my lord's descent."

Kaecilius sneered, opened a portal, and left. Strange struggled desperately, but he couldn't break free of so many magical ropes.

Strange had never been a match for Kaecilius in the first place, let alone this massively enhanced version of him.

"Fuck! Once the magic circle is destroyed, Dormammu and the Demon King of Hell will descend on Earth together. Then it'll all be over."

Strange was frantic. Once Dormammu descended, Earth and Christine would all perish.

"Huh? Wait, Christine?"
